The
Media Research Center was saddened to learn Friday of the passing of
the Honorable Jeane J. Kirkpatrick, Ambassador to the United Nations
for the Reagan administration and a leading conservative author and
thinker. She had been serving as a Senior Fellow at the American
Enterprise Institute, which has a
biography of her many accomplishments. The Washington Post's

We will fondly remember her for taking part in
our
2004 DisHonors Awards where, in good-humor, she accepted, on
behalf of ABC's Diane Sawyer and Dan Harris, the "Baghdad Bob Award

meetings on Iraq where she lobbied the hotel to add the
